TutorYou’s Spring 2026 IB & IGCSE Revision Courses
This year marked the 29ᵗʰ edition of TutorYou’s IB & IGCSE Easter Revision Courses, part of the wider revision programme we run every year across the spring, summer and winter periods. Over the years, these courses have become a well-established part of our academic offering, designed to provide students with structured, effective support at key moments in the school year.

Held from 4ᵗʰ to 9ᵗʰ April 2026 at the Bilingual European School and 10ᵗʰ to 14ᵗʰ April at St.Louis School in Milan, the courses gave students the opportunity to complete intensive revision in a structured, high-impact format ahead of their exams. Students could choose up to two subjects, across both IB and IGCSE, with each course running over three days. Teaching took place across 8 hours per day, with three breaks included, one of which was lunch in the school canteen.

The structure of the courses is designed to maximise both content coverage and exam readiness. Across the three days, students work closely with our tutors to revise the full syllabus in a focused and strategic way, before moving into the final day – “past paper day” – where they practice under timed conditions. This allows students to consolidate their subject knowledge, as well as develop technique, speed and confidence needed to perform well under exam conditions.

This approach reflects our model of “students helping students”: our tutors are high-achieving university students who have themselves recently completed the IB Diploma or IGCSEs. As a result, the material is still fresh in their minds, and they are able to communicate with students in a way that feels approachable, relevant, and easy to relate to. All of our tutors achieved top-tier grades in the subjects they teach, ensuring both academic excellence and genuine understanding of what it takes to succeed.

One of the clearest trends from this year’s edition was the strong participation of IB1 students, who increasingly recognise the value of preparing well in advance. For many of these students, the Easter period is a key opportunity to begin serious preparation for their mock exams, which play an essential role in the IB journey. Mock exam performance often informs predicted grades, and predicted grades are in turn a crucial part of the university admissions process, as they are frequently used by universities when making conditional offers. In this sense, early preparation is not simply beneficial: it is strategic.

This year’s courses were also our most international to date, with 34 tutors flown in from across Europe. Bringing together high-achieving graduates from countries including Albania, Germany and the UK, the programme offered students access to tutors who not only know the demands of these qualifications firsthand, but who can also deliver clear academic guidance, targeted revision support and practical exam strategies.

The Online Revision Courses were also particularly successful this year, with a strong mix of IB Year 1, IB Year 2, IGCSE and MYP courses designed to meet the needs of students across different grades and subject requirements. Courses are organised by subject and year group, meaning that IB Year 1 students are taught separately from IB Year 2 students, in order to ensure that teaching remains as relevant, focused and effective as possible. Their success further reflects the flexibility of TutorYou’s revision model, which continues to support students in a way that is both accessible and tailored to different academic needs.
After 29 editions, these courses continue to stand out for their academic rigour, clear structure and student-centred approach. Their continued growth reflects a simple principle that remains at the core of TutorYou’s work: students helping students, through high-quality teaching, relevant experience and a format built around results.
