TutorYou 2019 Spring Revision Courses at the American School of Milan
The TutorYou 2019 Spring Revision Courses have been a huge success and we are so happy to have received such positive feedback from our students! This 9th edition of the TutorYou Revision courses was held at the American School of Milan. The classrooms were the perfect space for our tutors to present their syllabuses and create a productive yet welcoming environment for our students. The beautiful outdoor areas allowed our students to relax and play some football and basketball during their breaks. We are also very grateful for the absolutely fantastic ASM cafeteria staff who made amazing meals for us every day!
On Sunday, we had a great time celebrating Easter with our students and tutors. We had a lovely lunch all together and a giant chocolate Easter egg, and once the festivities were done our students returned to working hard to prepare for their exams.
The courses included three sets of group revision courses, each lasting 3 days. There were classes for range of subjects, including Business Management, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Each class contained a maximum of 5 students, allowing more individual attention, participation, and better communication between students and the tutor. Tutors went over the entire syllabus of the subject, covering all the topics and using past paper questions to consolidate the students’ knowledge and prepare them for the exam.
We also had a variety of one to one private courses, in which students had the opportunity to have a more personalised experience which allows them to target specifically their strengths and weaknesses in the subject they revised. Students in both years of the IB and IGCSE programmes participated in numerous courses to help them with their schoolwork and prepare them for exams.
Overall we are very happy with how the courses went, and would like to wish the best of luck to all of our students with school, their exams, and their futures at university!
