Today we finished off the October 2018 TutorYou University fairs at IIS Severi-Correnti! The school had an amazing atmosphere and the students did a great job participating with the fair. We started off the Pathway to University Presentation where we desribe the variety of application processes needed to apply to different countries and courses.
Our TutorYou representatives talked about the different applications to universities abroad in countries like Spain, The Netherlands, and the UK, giving the students a unique opportunity to learn about applying abroad from people who have already done so themselves and are very familiar with the process. When we started the presentation, our survey showed that more than 70% of the students wanted to continue their higher education in Italy, hopefully our fair allowed them the chance to explore other possibilities!
We also presented in detail how to apply to a variety of fields in Italian Universities such as Engineering, Medicine, and Design, to ensure that all students would be prepared for their applications, regardless of what subject they wish to study. Again, this was done by TutorYou representatives and university students who had already done this themselves, and so were able to provide information drawn from their own experience. Thank you to all the students who were so polite and attentive during the presentation!
The presentation was followed by the fair, where universities from all over Europe had their own stands and could talk to prospective students about what their university can offer the students and the different courses that they provide. The students asked many interesting questions and the university representatives were great in providing useful information to help the students in their journey to higher education!
TutorYou would like to thank IIS Severi-Correnti and all of the students that attended that made this fair such a success! We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Universities present for sending amazing representatives and allowing the students to learn as much as possible about higher education in Europe before beginning their application:
