TutorYou at ICEF Higher Education

September was a busy month for TutorYou as the academic year began and our annual activities got under way. From the 20th – 22nd September we were in Finland in the lovely city of Helsinki for the 13th edition of ICEF Higher Education.

This conference is a chance for Educators and Agents to meet and discuss changes in their institutions, countries and the sector in general. It is important for us to build strong relationships withe the institutions we work with, as it allows us to be up to date on what is going on and provide our students with the best possible support.

In Helsinki we had the chance to catch up with some of our partners including: Central Film School, Universidad Europea, UCAM, EU Business School, Arts University Bournemouth, Cologne Business School and University of Law.

Central Film School shared with us some exciting news that they have now joined the Office for Students Register. Amongst other things, this means that the school now has the right to call itself a university and has the right to award its own degrees and it also very importantly means that their students can apply for funding, in other words they can now get government loans!

We have also been learning about what Finland has to offer our students and have met with universities from Australia, America, France and Spain to name a few!
We are looking to the next ICEF event – ICEF Berlin in November!
If you’re Interested in applying to University in any of these countries or universities, then get in touch with us today!
