TutorYou's High School Fair in Severi

TutorYou hosted an incredibly successful university event on the 16th of October in IIS Severi – Correnti. 22 universities and over 220 high school students took part. This is one of the 2 university events that we have hosted in the last two days. Both students and university representatives alike were remarkably enthusiastic to be taking part.

The event started with a presentation hosted by our tutors in IIS Severi – Correnti’s auditorium. The presentation guided students through the ins and outs of a UCAS application as well as a few possible suggestions for courses at specific universities around Europe and the UK. The presentation was interactive, we used realtime crowd polling to find out the students’ opinions on studying abroad. The students all seemed to really enjoy the presentation based on the atmosphere in the room.

Following this was an undergraduate fair where all 22 universities had their own stalls set up in the school’s hall. Students will speak to these university representatives about admissions, study abroad and course options. The following universities were all present:

  • University of Warwick
  •  Bocconi University
  • Hult International University
  • Nottingham Trent University
  • Coventry University
  • Richmond – American University in London
  • New European College
  • Marangoni Institute
  • Bath Spa University
  • Condé Nast College of Fashion Design
  • Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences
  • Cologne Business School
  • Global University System
  • IE University
  • UCAM University of Spain
  • University of Italian Switzerland
  • University of Chichester
  • ILAC University Pathways
  • Arts University Bournemouth
  • Maastricht University
  • ONCAMPUS Foundation

On hand at the fair were a selection of our own tutors who would talk to the students about their respective subjects, the best universities to apply for those subjects and would give any friendly advice they had on the application process. Our tutors are some of the best people to ask as they are all students who have been through the same admissions process recently so will have the best advice for high school students.

We are so grateful for the commitment of all those involved. We hope that next year’s event will be as successful as this year!
